But seriously folks: What happens in Meta should stay in Meta.
I see no useful point in polluting The Lounge with their swill.

Their attempt to eliminate, eradicate, and/or extinguish the Lounge has failed for the 125th time. So, they'll start picking us all off one by one.

We need to tighten our defenses, hide the weed, strengthen the kittehs and hide under the couch. They'll come with offers of cartoons, cute pix of baby animals and food. We must be strong.

Together we stand, divided we end up in Meta as dinner.



Some of you should no longer be allowed to leave the safety of The Lounge. You know who you are.

and posting "only" a few times per week, on average, with a couple of years posting none during some moves and an interesting tour of local hospitals. It's come as a surprise to realize that the Lounge, of all places, actually often has a better grasp of life and politics than the political forums. I wouldn't have guessed that.

Forgiveness, self-forgiveness, self-deprecation, tolerance, a bit of help, patience, joy, wit, music...it's as families do when at their best. That's enough. I don't want to accuse anyone of wisdom. And we are all still capable of pulling the wings off angels.

I was inappropriately serious at the wrong time, wrong words, wrong place, maudlin even. I don't know what came over me.

It won't happen again, I promise, just don't send that mob down my street. I know what can happen. I've seen it in real life.
