Mick Jagger is impressive at 69.

Just watching the Sandy concert, he is still a live wire, full of energy, performing full tilt, and the Stones sound great.

same with the Youtube clips of the recent English concerts the Stones performed in late November.

It is a shock to realize that most remaining stars from the '60s are hitting the age of 70.

Rock until you drop.

or supplemental weight workout, I need to put on a DVD of Jagger and the Stones. Geebus! I didn't have that kind of raw energy when I was 20 and I didn't abuse drugs like most of them did. Geebus!

7. Sure, NOW you wish that you'd abused drugs then so that you'd have that much energy today

were we watching the same concert?

dancing all over the stage, limber as could be, looking effortless?

Sure, that's geriatric.

6. Yeah, but the songs were mid-tempo at best

THAT'S what made them sound old and tired to me. The Who are impressing me more because though they're standing still, it doesn't sound as though they've lost a step.

I mean really....he was strutting all over that stage like he did when he was a pup back in the 60s. Give the guy a break. I thought their set was pretty awesome, no matter what his age is.

This whole concert has been one for the books. My only issue is that listening to it at home the sound is not as good as it might be. I realize there could be problems having it sound good in person, vs. for broadcast. But all in all it has been one hell of a concert. Can you imagine that audience getting to see all those people in ONE night!???? They will remember this one for a long, long time.

And one more time....Mick ruled during his set. He has nothing to apologize for. Rock on, Baby!

Billy Joel on now! Wow!! This just gets better and better and he really has held up, too. His performance was stellar.

Still cool that they can get their groove on at that age - Goddess knows when we were young we looked at 70 year old's as if they were all Lawrence Welk-o-philes - but the tunes were slower last night and the Stones all look ... well, I wouldn't want to run across 'em in a dark alley.
