Wait Wut

Remember way back when you were a teenager...

...and you'd be sitting around with 2 or 3 close friends getting totally baked? Then someone would accidentally start a deep discussion about...dirt or sumthin'? Everyone would get all serious...about dirt.

I've come to the conclusion that it was all Pink Floyd's fault. Though they may have been one of the catalysts in the aforementioned baking, they were the cause of many deep discussions...about dirt. Floyd harshed many a buzz.

I have no idea what made me think of this.

my parents had had more discussions while baked, but that was the late 50s - early 60s and middle class couples didn't do that sort of thing back then.

As far as I knew.

Anyway, it would have been far more entertaining to have seen them discussing things like dirt than actually fist fighting about it.

Yes...my parents fought about dirt one night.

My mom was of the opinion that one could safely wash one's face while taking a bath.

My dad felt that the water became contaminated once the entire body (to the waist) became submerged and we would die horrible deaths comparable only to the Black Plague.

sigh...

If it hadn't have become a fist fight that would have been hilarious.

I sort of agree with your dad, but then again...I'm a little OCD. Plus, I hate water, so I only take showers. Maybe I shouldn't form an opinion, at all. But...the thought sort of icks me out.
