Where might I find reasonable good looking furinture cheap?

Since my wife and I are moving we are debating if we should some of the furinture we have now. We got our stuff when we first got married. Her mother insisted we by from this store and well all but one of our kitchen table chairs broke within six months of the wedding. Our sofa and chair started getting bad within 2 years of married --fabric started getting holes and yes we do have cats who have done some damage BUT it started going bad and coming apart before they decided to have fun.

She wants our washer dryer and stove and fridge but she wants to make a "Fresh" start for the most part.

Is it possible or should I tell her to screw it?

I just got back from Austin an hour ago and picked up the sofa. Bought a side chair a couple of weeks ago.
You have to really scour the ads regularly - but, Hey- great selection and great deals, too.
Unlike most the cheap crap from the usual stores around here.

If I can figure out how to post the pictures I will show you what I bought!
