OK my mom moved to Florida over 12 years ago. All that time she's had a cemetery plot up here, paid for, next to her second husband. In the meantime, she found herself a man friend she wants to spend the rest of her life with.

Last year when my brother died, she had him buried in her paid-for plot.

She's told us kids that when it's her time, she wants to be buried in Florida, not up here where it's too cold.

Last week I don't know how we got on the subject but it came up again, and I said if it was that important to her, we kids could get her a coffin with a heating system...har har.

No dice. Still too cold up here for her liking...even dead.
