as long as the wind doesn't blow the house is OK to sleep or work in, but too freaking cold to sit around playing on the internet or whatever. when the wind blows it is warmer sitting in the freaking truck. so many drafty spots, NO insulation. yhick old adobe walls in the living room, but the doors and windows are drafty and the damn fireplace has no damper, so you pretty much have to build the fire out in the room because the chimney sucks most of the heat up.

good thing ranching is really an outdoor lifestyle

winter or summer....

you are a way... better woman than i. i am such a featherweight.

it is 46 here. it is colder where you are. we have stone also. holds in the cold. we did get new window last summer. makes all the difference. still have my double front doors i will stuff towels in the crack, when it is way cold. no one is allowed in the front door. have to come thru the garage.

stay warm.....

Thank you.

However, I do not envy you your drafty house.......

I am sorry to hear about it.
