The g*ddamn exterior Christmas lights got hung up yesterday.

The ex did all the work while I was doing other tasks. She got very frustrated at one point and took it out on me good. I finally asked if i could just take the van and leave back to my place and I'd return in the morning and she agreed to that in a not very nice way.

When I went back this morning, I saw the lights were all up and they looked good. When I went into the house, the ex apologised for being so mean to me and I told her that was fine (I sure wasn't fine with it while it happened though!). I also told her she ought to be proud of herself as this is the first time in many years that she's been able to do that on her own and the job does look good.
