As we prepare to dig into the Hickory Farm beefstick....Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays all!

The sweet potato pancakes are long gone...mid afternoon snack time is upon us (all still in our PJs)....

DU and all of you here were a big part of my year (and sanity...as far as it goes!). If 2012 was a good one for you, here's to a repeat for 2013. If 2012 kinda sucked, here's to a much better year next year.

Enjoy the day...and the season....wishes to you all coming from unseasonably warm (but really nice!) Raleigh NC.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who spent an inordinately long time in her jammies today.

Followed by heading to Hickory Farms tomorrow to buy more goodies at 50% off! (weather permitting)

BTW, NRL.... I picked the last of my green tomatoes around Halloween and put them in paper bags in the garage. We had some little ones that ripened until last week! They didn't taste as good as fresh from the garden, but I got a kick out of having garden tomatoes in December.

Happy holidays to you and your family!

from the Left Coast; where the climate outside has settled into a steady rain, and the climate inside is enlivened by a cracklin' warm fire, ribeye steaks, and a bit of red wine.
