I live not all that far from Augusta National Golf Course. Masters week is a huge pain in the ass. It's hell for the people who live in the area right around the course--except for the ones who are in spots where they can rent out parking. They make a killing.

It used to be Christmas when I was a kid and a teenager, but nowadays I don't get that much stuff for Christmas outside of clothes. I'm 22 years old so I have no use for toys, and many of today's video games are 1st-person shooters, which aren't my strong suit. This is also the same reason why I don't enjoy birthdays as much as I used to, except for the cake.

Fun for the whole family, even the ones who have departed.

I used to like Halloween when my sons were little. Now it's kind of useless.

I even hum Christmas Carols in the middle of summer. I am hopeless.

It hasn't been too commercialized.... yet! And you don't usually have to worry about the weather for traveling.

Christmas is also our younger daughter's birthday, so it wins the holiday contest hands down.

Not for the religious aspect of it. Just that it means Springtime is close.

Thanksgiving is my favorite as well. Christmas is okay, but I really like Thanksgiving.
