I made & ate deviled eggs with eggs Ex-wife had that expired 3 weeks ago. Ask me anything!

Ex got very sick and was throwing up and I felt very crappy and made a few trips to the bathroom. Other then that, it was a very good Christmas!

I have to thank Baby Jesus that me and her were the only ones who ate them other then a brother-in-law who ate 1. I thought they tasted a bit off but didn't look at the "best used by" date on the egg cartons in the garbage till after she got sick and we wondered if it was something we had made for X-Mas dinner.

I've never had an ex-wife, but the idea of sharing a meal with an ex-wife that had expired three weeks ago seems a little gruesome, frankly......

I may be mis-interpreting the OP's meaning, I realize.

I got up early this morning (4 a.m.) and cleaned up everthing in the kitchen and dining room so she wouldn't have to deal with it.

with "expired" eggs.

The trick is to figure out how "expired" they really are.

Here's how...

get a deep bowl and fill with cool water.

drop entire egg in it. If it sinks, it's good.

If it sort of suspends halfway between bottom and surface it's OK to eat.

If it floats, throw out.

never got sick from eating eggs this way.

I wasn't there so that couldn't be considered an attempt to kill me.

As I think about all the things that have happened, life with her is exciting because the sunrise you may have seen in the morning might very well be the last one you ever see. One might as well live every day to the fullest and don't worry about the future as odds are, you ain't going last long enough to see much of the future.

We both had several before dinner and we were the only two that got sick. The brother-in-law had just one and nobody else ate any.
