I got some good news today.
I found out I am getting a raise at the company I had to quit last month (so I could get my money out of my IRA because I was broke). They haven't had any work for me for over a year now, but hope to have some coming up soon. I hope so, too, because my IRA wasn't very big. My source (and advocate) also apologized for not realizing how much corporate had taken advantage of me previously, so I got that going for me. Oh, and I have to keep it secret until the senior boss tells me. If work arises, of course. So don't tell anyone, let's just keep it between us.
