Fast-Food Chain Replaces Burger Wrappings With Edible Packaging - DesignTAXI.com reports that as part of a recent campaign, “Brazil-based fast-food chain Bob’s replaced its plastic burger wrappings with edible packaging.” While the campaign “served as an eco-friendly move … as no paper or plastic wrappings were thrown out,” it was apparently also meant “to demonstrate that people can’t wait to eat the burgers.”

Some earlier items on edible packaging and products here and here, and an exploration of dissolving packaging here. (Needless to say we have done a lot of posts about packaging in general.)
