I went from 234 to 180 pounds. I now weigh what I did when I got married, 31 years ago. And I feel great!

(22,764 posts)2. Well, it all started with a bleeding ulcer
That nearly killed me. Then, I decided I needed to lose weight and keep it off. So I use a rowing mating almost every day, and cut back on meals and snacking. I can't seem to lose any more weight--I'd like to get down to 175, but I don't think that's going to happen.

But the outcome sounds great.
Have you considered dropping most starchy carbs? My RD swears by it, seems to be working for me.

Had pretty good luck with it. I had better luck with a low fat diet. These day, I eat whatever I want. Just a lot less of it.
That is great!
Keep it up, I love hearing things like this.
