Oh, dear! I thought I saw that coming having been diagnosed with that myself, but it's just too sad.

(20,214 posts)I had a high school friend that died of a massive stroke after the birth of her second baby. Millions of babies are born without trouble every year, but so much can go wrong.

My blood pressure sky rocketed at the beginning of both my third trimesters and I was put on bed-rest and only allowed to lie on my left side. I even delivered my second child lying on my left side.
First kid I lost enough blood it helped the bp come down, but the second one I hardly seemed to lose any and it took a few days for the bp to get back down again.
I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. It is so easy to forget in this day and age of medical miracles that not all endings are happy ones.

(202 posts)Lord G might want to watch his back. Son-in-lawyer is questioning his investment strategies and the Mrs. isn't happy with him.
Cora also seems kind of passive, so he might want a food tester.
I love this show.
elleng
(131,107 posts)Lord and Cora more likely to remain, imo; Mary and son-in-lawyer not so sure.

Cora still wants to sleep without Lord G, she said 'I'm never against you, but you've lost on this one,' Tom wants daughter to be christened Catholic, and something about a knife in the prison and Bates.
