I won't say she lacks talent, and she certainly has looks and that intangible "star" quality. But I just really don't much like her songs... this being the prime example.

The local oldies radio station is now playing 80's music. That really made me feel old!

WKLH out of Milwaukee (they have a web site,) plays mostly 70's classic rock.

Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, etc.

Madonna was just terrible. The Black Eyed Peas were disappointing too.

I liked Beyonce's performance.

But, the performance was formulaic, IMO..Lots of glitz but little substance... I'm sure her concerts probably sound better, but nothing she performed (and I actually have heard some of her "hits" before), impressed me, especially in that large venue. It probably looked good in person, though (and maybe even sounded better there as well).

Less the Beyonce fans swallow me whole, I'm not dissing her, but I just didn't think it was a tremendous SuperBowl performance...
