Growing up it was MASH, but Cheers is a close second. West Wing is my favorite drama, but for the quick 22 minute comedy, I love MASH. I have the series on dvd as well.

Well, right after the early years which were filled with the Flintstones and Gilligans Island. I had to have something realistic as a teen!

I am just now discovering the West Wing. I wish I could have caught it first run. It would have been nice to have that during the harsh reality of the bush years.

and I just need a half hour or an hour of something entertaining to unwind or on the treadmill.

I've always loved that show and all its cast.

I used to feel this way about Northern Exposure, but as trite as it might be, the recent RW antics of Janine Turner, have sort of soured me on it. I see her and can't stop cringing-- Plus it jumped the shark after the first few seasons anyway.

... but neglects some minor nerve damage in his left arm -- turns out the kid was an accomplished concert pianist with a promising career. He gets him not to give up on music.

5. The Winchester character started out very unidimensional, but wow did they flesh him out...

Of course a lot of that has to do with the actor, who was just phenomenal (David Ogden Stiers)...
