We found drawings and a note from the workers. I wish we'd taken a photo of them! One was of the "Kilgore was here" school of art, another had palm trees and a beach. The note was about having a nice life in the house and it was dated.

We also found a spot where a worker put in about two dozen nails - I bet he was just trying to sound busy. We'd always wondered why there was this lump there....
