which can have impact on quantity and texture of hair.

For years...I couldn't grow my hair past my shoulders, and I started using Nioxin for my scalp, and Voila! My hair is almost down to the middle of my back!

It is protein that is pushed out through living follicles. The condition of the shafts (hair) is indicative of follicle health.
