My guess would be for repointing or to be permanently walled off.

#2 Is a worry unless the fuse box is lockable. Still a worry if it is, but at least then it takes a determined idiot to off themselves.

#3 Is an idiot who clearly thinks the electricty will dribble out if he turns an upright plug plate sideways. And whilst asthetically less than pleasing, it's not an actual danger, since anthing which would fit in the gap would also fit in the socket iteself. (It would take an even more determined idiot.)

#4 Is what happens when you have no space, but insist on indoor plumbing (or a second toilet).

#5 looks exactly like the back of my desk with it's 10 100mA plugpacks supplying a plethora of voltages (5-28V(AC & DC)) through a nearly equal number of different connectors (3 and 5 pin din, 1/8 jack, and 3 sizes of coaxial).
