(20,219 posts)It wasn't so bad
I was comfortable keeping it to a nice relaxed ~30mph. Going in to the gig and getting stuck behind someone on the highway going under 10 with his flashers on was a little irritating. LoL!...... but other than that it wasn't tooooo bad.
Coming home was better. The roads were a little better and it wasn't snowing. And I managed to muscle it over the plow ridge at the end of the driveway, no problem.

(20,219 posts)I go to Empire Blvd.
Geez, was going home the other day right when they were dealing with the poor woman who was murdered and thrown in the ravine.... Of course I didn't know at the time what had hapened but from al the cops and first responders that I could see right from the road, and the news vans all along the overpass, I figured it had to be something like this.
she had been a professor at RIT, too, though I never worked with her. So damn sad.

(28,749 posts)I was driving under the Tryon park bridge on 590 and saw the traffic then got home and saw the news report... very scary stuff. Rochester is a good city overall but there are a few bad eggs, as with any city.
When I go home I head south from RIT area on W. Henrietta and there is a big hill and it always causes some snow driving drama.
