was really really incredible. It is a really great vehicle for Olyphant, but it is the quality of the full cast that clinches it.

Okay, it's a great show, but Timothy Olyphant is very, very easy on the eyes.

In fact, I like it so much that, instead of waiting for it to come on DVD, I buy it from Itunes.

The only other show I do that for is Top Gear. These two shows are my obsessions.

I've done without cable for over a year.

the character is based on. The show is better. Funny, I didn't love Olyphant in "Deadwood" but he certainly is cute on "Justified".

Oh, and football.

Justified and football.

And Game of Thrones.

Justified, football, GoT. And True Blood.

But as much as I love those and many other shows, Justified is the best thing ever.

The sociopath role fits him...he's like his shield character but in a "wrong turn" kind of way....he's also a diehard liberal btw!

but now I'm even more glad I'm a fan.

I agree about Patton Oswalt too - I love that little guy. He's a great addition to the show.

There was a YouTube video I saw not long ago taken by some film students visiting the set and they were gushing over how amazing he is on the show (they're not wrong--he knocks it out of the park every single time). He was a lot more soft-spoken than I expected and seemed genuinely humbled by and appreciative of what they said, which made me just like him more.

that I buy it on iTunes the day after it airs because I don't have cable. A friend of mine recommended it to me and brought over the first season on DVD and we were halfway through the first episode when I turned to him and said, "I know we just started watching this, but I love it already."

Even the supporting characters are great--a couple of episodes ago, Raylan, Tim, and Art went on a mini-stakeout together and I realized that not only was that a great combo, the show could have an episode that just consisted of Tim and Raylan trying to out-laconic each other and I'd still watch the hell right out of that.

There was also a great episode, "Blaze of Glory," in season two where Art tracks down an aging bank robber and catches up to him as the robber's about to flee the country in an airplane. It was the slowest/most hilarious/shortest foot pursuit I've ever seen.

She knows me better than I know myself!

Watching McDonough's demise last season was fun...on top of a criminal enterprise one minute, humiliating death by all local factions the next...made me appreciate Boyd's brand of evil!

was one of the few times I've ever said, "Holy shit!" while watching a TV show. One moment it's, "How's Raylan going to get out of this one?" the next it's, "Whoa! I can't believe they just did that!"
