I don't know much about bulldogs but they sure look like tough guys. I didn't know they squealed. I love doggies and actually feel sorry for the little guy. He was SO !!! Poor baby! But it was to me!

I don't know about bulldogs being cowards, though. I stayed at my cousin's house
for two whole recuperative months following my bad motorcycle accident and her
sweetheart of an English bulldog Winnie (yes, for Winifred) stayed on the couch
with me almost 24/7.
.
Several months later, I paid them an unannounced visit, but no one was at home.
Knowing her back sliding glass doors would be open, I went around and let myself
in. Her other two toy collies didn't recognize me and came at me in an exceptionally
aggressive fashion, I think they were actually going to attack me, but this burlap
sack filled with three bowling balls came FLASHING up and stood between me and
them, knocking them aside and barking at them.
