Jethro Tull - Thick As A Brick - 2012

Ok .... Why didn't I know that Jethro Tull actually toured in 2012, playing the ENTIRE 'Thick As A Brick' album ? ....

The only actual original JT member here is Ian, but it sounds pretty damned close to the original show, given the many intervening years that have passed .... Ian Anderson's voice has been compromised over the last few years due to some sort of vocal cord problem, but it seems to be coming back, slowly ....

We (myself and my fellow musician friends from the 70's) always thought quite highly of Tull's extraordinary concept albums, Thick As A Brick and A Passion Play, and we celebrated mightily when they came to the LA Forum in the early mid 70's on tour .... There is little decent footage from that era, but this fan footage is recent and sounds pretty damned good .... Enjoy !

but Martin has been a member for yonks and played on the first TAAB album. The live show was amazing.

You do know there's a TAAB2 album. It's an IA album as opposed to JT and on it Ian muses as to what might have happened to Gerald Bostock over time.

It was mentioned here on DU when it first came out. Thank you, whoever pointed it out.
