Do a thesaurus search for "toking."

I do thesaurus searches on google which just involves typing the word and then "thesaurus," and usually get link to a source with synonyms. But today I was looking for a synonym for "toking" because I'm looking for a word to describe someone who is puffing on his cigar, but google refuses to play. It refuses "toking" and it self-corrects to "talking."

Anyone else get the same results?

without "thesaurus" and Google gave me this:

toking present participle of toke
Verb
Smoke marijuana or tobacco: "he muses while toking on a cigarette"; "we toked some grass".

ThesaurusLegend: Synonyms Related Words Antonyms
Noun 1. toke - a puff of a marijuana or hashish cigarette; "the boys took a few tokes on a joint"
drag, pull, puff - a slow inhalation (as of tobacco smoke); "he took a puff on his pipe"; "he took a drag on his cigarette and expelled the smoke slowly"

Of course, toking IS puffing but I always associated it with weed only. You can puff on any smokable thing but toking is for joints.

but you can call the cigar a stick and you'll look hip to the lingo. lol

And, of course, when referring to a cigar it is not uncommon to talk about the draw. Drawing on it is puffing.

And I found you this: http://www.puff.com/Content/Puff-Lifestyle/cigar-lingo.html

I wanted the character to be able to talk after he puffed on his cigar, so draw seemed to be better than puffing, in the end. The other way made it sound like he was hyperventilating.
