I'd never own such a vehicle unless I needed it for work. I still find it appealing, though. I'd piss off every environmentalist in the area if I just used that thing to tool around town in.

but I tend to be conservative as to acquisitions. I buy FEW things, and hope I'll never have to buy a car again. Driving Dad's '93 Camry wagon, and it does everything I need it to do.

Have fun!

I'd probably need a large maintenance reserve, though.

My first vehicle was a 1976 Chevy pickup. I've loved old trucks ever since then. I'd love to have that one back as well.

(you have great taste in trucks too) I bought a very beat up one for $100.00; a man friend guided me (let me do all work/just advised without criticism) as I put in all new brakes, fixed radiator, painted it and other misc work... that truck took me back and forth between Vermont and Michigan numerous times, transporting sheep on last trip (my crazy days) I LOVED that truck!!!

My hell raising days appear to be behind me. A six pack on a Friday night is about as wild as I get now days. I guess getting married can do that to a guy.

Unfortunately, since you are short on that, I don't know what to suggest.

Looks pretty good for the age and price.

Hauling a flatbed or a car trailer or something of that sort. If I was just coming out there to visit y'all, I'd hop in my Honda Civic.

Well, the guy is going after cops and their families. I'd be scared to death to come to work in California right now if I was a cop.
