I didn't see Maggie or Glen in the car with Rick.

Lori is dead, and Beth is unencumbered.

She is taking care of a baby so she wants a baby.

She is mixed up.

However, the group is running short on available Y chromosomes, unless they start to share partners for procreation purposes or something.

It's Rick, Axel, or Carl. And Glenn, if Maggie is generous.

Carl is a bit young, and Axel is a bit old. Rick is the alpha male of the group.

Of course this isn't normal times.

She needs to wait for Carl, give Carl as few years.

In five years he will about 17.

He sees Lori. He just threw out the other group. Big mistake. He should have listened to Herschel.

He needs to step down for awhile.

He could have let the new group stay but not give them guns right awhile.

I haven't read the comics. But Rick threw him out. Maybe he'll be back?

However, in the comics, Tyreese, Tyreese's daughter & her boyfriend were the first group to join up with Rick, Lori, Dale, Andrea and company once they left Atlanta. (Tyreese's daughter & boyfriend ended up killing themselves on Hershel's farm...). He ended up becoming Rick's right hand man.

Not sure where they're going here, since Tyreese doesn't have a daughter on the show, and showed up much later.

There really were no good choices in the Rick/Glen/Merle conflict.

Glen using his boot to take his anger out on the roadside walker was definitely the walker kill of the night.

Bring on the assault on the prison. We all know it is coming.

I agree that Rick needs to step down, but who takes his place as leader? Hershel? Carol?

He died because Rick mentally blitzed and stopped covering them as they were escaping. So, Oscar got, shot, I believe, and never made it out of Woodbury.

Bummer the way it happened back to back after they killed off T-Dog.

3 episodes from now, they could have a whole new cast and nobody would blink an eye.

My guess is that they're going to figure out a way to keep Tyreese and at least some of his
friends with the show.

asshole to function at all with that group.

That speech Andrea gave, and the towns reaction was Horrible

Beth has got some serious hormones raging (wasn't Jimmy her boyfriend back on the farm?) Some discussion boards have mentioned that in one of the mid-season teasers it looked like Carol was crouching for cover behind a body that looked like Axel. If true I can see Beth revealing that she pregnant with Axel's kid, while everyone groans.

I think Tyrese and Co. were just shuffled out of the room, not necessarily kicked out. Michone's not going anywhere either (other than to try and kill the Gov with Glen, and finally prove herself once and for all).

Michone and Glen just might get their asses saved on the road by Merle and Daryl.

Merle and Daryl are important players yet.

I don't think Tyrese and group will go anywhere.

They will hide out somewhere safe for the time being.

Rick is no longer the leader, that was clear at the end of the episode.

The group will do what it wants to do.

Rick did what he needed to do to get the group into a save place, but that time is over.

Rick needs a break, he has PTSD.

I was trying to figure out how long Andrea was there while she gave her corny speech.
She made it sound like she grew up there and built the town. I think the writing was really bad in those scenes.
I just wasn't buying the horrible acting with the town residents or Andrea.

It's not their fault that they've been sheltered since the zombie apocalypse started. The Governor, Merle and everybody else there have shielded them from most of the worst and given them at least a bit of normalcy.

Was telling my friend that as we watched. I want them all DEAD!! lol and I've been hoping for Andrea to be walker food for a while. Especially after she fell for Shane and the gov's BS.

In the comics, she has an affair with Dale, but never went for any "bad boy" types. After Lori dies, in the comics, she starts up with Rick, believe it or not. (It was well after Lori died, so it wasn't like they were doing it while Lori's dead body was still warm...)

They will have to grow up fast without the Governor to hold their hands.

Having the town still there might not be a bad idea, just without the Governor.

Andrea could take over and run the town, she does know how to kick ass.

I don't think she knows yet and that Rick killed him. She was Shane's only ally and might not be happy to find out Rick killed him.

That is a new twist to the plot.

I don't know if Andrea is willing to rough it anymore.

She does know about the Governor now.

Andrea is the wild card in this game.

Here in central florida the local affiliates sold some commercial time for the feature broadcast slot. During the 5th commercial break there was a 30 second spot for a local cemetary. Do businesses request the airtime for thier commerical? If so- I can't figure out if the cemetary commercial aired during the walking dead was the result of intelligent marketing and creative demographic manipulation, or just a case of really funny (ha ha) intentionally ironic product placement.

I didn't catch it last night.

Rick attitude did change for an instant about the new group.

Then Rick saw Lori and it was game over.

That was when Rick was really gone.
