Actual headline: "I lost my virginity twice: Woman, 27, reveals she has TWO VAGINAS"

...and yes, 'TWO VAGINAS" is capitalized in the headline.

===

Hazel Jones always wondered why she suffered from terrible cramps and heavy periods during puberty. But it wasn't until she turned 18 that she was given her astonishing diagnosis - she had two vaginas.

The blonde 27-year-old from High Wycombe has the million-in-one condition uterus didelphys, which means she has two separate uteruses and cervixes as well.

But she told ITV's This Morning she was comfortable with having the condition, despite the fact she had to effectively lose her virginity twice.

'Once I found out what it was I told everybody,' she told TV hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. 'I thought it was amazing and it's definitely an ice-breaker at parties'

Only Honey had to give her money to get plastic surgery?

Any once-high-school kids looking through their dad's Hustlers remember that?

A spaceport bar on Tatooine
She got a job as a libertine
They didn't warn her
Did not inform her
'Bout makin' Wookies

Anatomy can vary
Humans have only one
Then when she saw Big Hairy's
It really doubled her fun

She feels so silly that she indulged
Now that her belly's begun to bulge
So planet lubbers
Use double rubbers
When makin' Wookies

I think it was in Life magazine. She had two uteruses and got pregnant two separate times. Somehow she never realized that she had two until here "twins" were born a full month apart.

As an eight or nine year old this freaked me out.

Two pregnancies in different uteruses - freaky.

It sounds like her periods were in sync. Imagine getting your period and having to figure out which uterus was having it - if at separate times, one could spend half one's life menstruating.

By the time the doctors took everything out, I WAS spending half my life menstruating. The last six months before they finally "spayed" me were horrific with that and the near non-stop migraines.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uterus_didelphys

The uterus is formed during embryogenesis by the fusion of the two paramesonephric ducts (also called mullerian ducts). This process usually fuses the two mullerian ducts into a single uterine body but fails to take place in these affected women who maintain their double mullerian systems. A didelphic uterus will have a double cervix and is usually associated with a double vagina. Causes for the failure to fuse are not known. Associated defects may affect the vagina, the renal system, and less commonly, the skeleton.
The condition is less common than these other uterine malformations: arcuate uterus, septate uterus, and bicornuate uterus. It has been estimated to occur in 1/3,000 women.[1]

The vet confirmed it - penis in the middle, vaginas on either side. Fortunately he (what we call him since we found the penis first) hasn't gotten himself pregnant. As I like to say, it brings a whole new meaning to "go fuck yourself".

He has no fear of dogs, cats, or humans. He came out of the nest to investigate when my daughters were sitting on the stones around the oak tree. He was just curious. His mother tried to kill him by biting him. After the other kits left the nest, he was still hanging around waiting for something to happen - which would most likely have been a cat. I had already put him back in the nest twice (with a slotted spoon) and after the nest was empty there was only one thing to do - I took him in.

He loves getting cuddled and purrs (cotton tails are one of the only rabbits with full purrs, hares don't purr at all). My big boy (almost 15 year old cat) will sometimes sleep curled up into me with the bunny in the middle. They'll do that for hours, even if I'm sleeping. The cat even bathes the rabbit like a kitten.

Fortunately, he does have the instinct to groom himself (one of the few) and potty trained himself. The latter makes cleaning the cage really easy.

What I don't get about the woman in the article is how she could be 18 without knowing she had two wonder-zones. "Don't you ever double-click your mouse?" ("American Pie" reference). That just seems weird. Or is there just one opening and two full sets of innards? Twins would be an entirely different matter - would they really be twins?
