I started watching the series when the Science Channel started to run the series from the beginning back in November. They're supposed to do it in 3-hour blocks; they started with Tuesdays but moved to Fridays a few weeks ago.
When I got home, even though the cable guide said Fringe was supposed to be on, all I had was three stupid hours of "Survivorman". Maybe Survivorman would be interesting in another context, but not when I was all set to settle in for a few hours with husband and the kitties.
WTF? And the Science Channel's website now just says they have no info on Fringe scheduling.
This is movie night at the Flaxbee household! Dinner, Fringe, and 5 cats sitting on our laps.
Dammit! I hardly watch anything anymore - The Americans, Downton Abbey, and Fringe. Will probably circle around to Mad Men when it's on again, because Downton will be off after this week.
OK, whining is over. But, to quote Lady Catherine de Bourgh (Pride & Prejudice), 'I am most seriously displeased!'

(426 posts)All seasons of Fringe. I started watching it from the beginning, with the pilot episode. It was kind of confusing to me until I watched it start to finish. Now I love it. So mad that it got cancelled!
If you're not a member of Amazon Prime, I think it costs $79 a year. There's a lot of movies you can watch for free, or cheap, per episode. Also free shipping on qualifying items, if you do online shopping through Amazon. One of the last of the Great American Bargains, IMO.
I don't blame you for being mad. I had a similar experience with one of my favorite shows, Burn Notice. What I thought would be an all day marathon, as shown by the on screen program guide, only lasted about 2 hours! Grrrrr!

(13,661 posts)I do shop a lot on Amazon, but usually not Prime items (flea meds from the UK, for example...)
My husband and I like it enough we might just buy the seasons, starting with 2 and 3. But it's very good to know Amazon has it. If I ever get an e-reader, I'll probably join A-Prime.

(426 posts)And the nice thing about watching it through Amazon Prime is you can watch on your schedule. Not the Science Channel's.
