I know this is a weird question, and I'm sure to get some x-rated responses -- 
-- but in all seriousness.....
As a community, if we were to have an auction to raise money for DUers who need some help and are on Wishadoo!'s Wishlist (if you aren't familiar with Wishadoo, please see my journal), can you think of what some DUers could contribute for such an auction and/or what you might bid on?
With us all being scattered around the globe, it's hard to auction anything that takes place in a geographic location (like lunch with Skinner or something similar; edit to add that such a thing would benefit DU, too, if he agreed to it).
But there are talents and skills galore within the DU community, so surely there are some creative things that can be auctioned, even if they're only able to be appreciated by those of us in this community.
Edit to add that if you're wondering how it would work, technically, one of Wishadoo!'s unused tools is a marketplace, which is like "ebay for good." It has the auction and buy now features, just like ebay.
