1993 Caddilac Hearse - $1600 (Earlham College Richmond Indiana)
Drove this hearse to college from Montana. It ran beautifully the whole time but now that I am at school I am finding that I really don't need a car of this size. I feel bad just letting it sit there in the parking lot scaring all the students. As of now, it has not been started for the last two months but it did work when parked two months ago. The hearse has some rust and needs a new windshield. Perfect vehicle for hauling "stuff" or perfect for a fun bizarre project car. Helps you get invited to parties around Halloween. Great grocery getter! can handle a lot of dead weight! At 1600 this car is to die for. I have used this car in many road trips. Originally planned to make it a tail gaiter but as a broke college student my plans were put on hold.

It's another one of those "I wish I could buy it but my wife would kill me" kind of things.

(716 posts)Tell your wife to chill out and get it. You never know when it might come in handy with a sleeping bag and pillow on a cool summer night. I've always wanted a hearse but never came across a deal like that anywhere near where I lived at the time. Somebody will snatch that up. I remember a picture from 30 years or so ago of a hearse painted with scroll work and script that read, "Just hearsin' around".
