DAMN! A true legend of Blues has passed away.

Just saw this on my facebook page via a musician I am friends with. The great Magic Slim has passed away. He was an innovative Chicago Blues musician and will be sorely missed. R.I.P. Slim.
No link yet, but as soon as I find out more, I will post.

... and, after he played for about 15 minutes, this older Black man who was sitting at the bar
slamming double shots of whiskey wandered over to the stage, climbed up on it and picked
up his guitar and started making his, well... magic. The young man had been his rhythm
player. The real Magic Slim almost fell off the stage 2 or 3 times, but it was the best damned
blues show I'd ever seen in my life.
