When I was even more of a newbie than I am now, I had a post hidden and was crushed.

Then I got an invitation to serve on a jury and found out the idiot reasons people vote to hide. One person said, well the post would be okay if the poster had more of a record, but even though the post was true, the poster had so few posts that it was likely a troll.

What hiding posts does is discourage honest differences of opinion. Who wants to say Hillary would be a disaster as President if they're going to rack up hidden posts and probably eventually get booted.

I have more than a few DUers who wish In The Wind would go away.
Unfuck 'em. Cause 1/2 of 'em cannot understand me ~ that's their problem.

Personally, I haven't blocked anyone. I think it's childish unless the person is really becoming abusive to you.

If I don't like what someone says I just stop going back and forth with them. But like I said, I can be an asshole right back at them.
