1. I didn't last ten minutes on "The Bible". The book was better.

but seriously, folks, it looked like every cheap re-enactment about that era every done previously on History and any other cable channel. Low, low budget, everyone in brand new clean robes and modern haircuts, etc., etc.

I may be an atheist, but the whole Old Testament thing fascinates me. Too bad this program didn't.

Moses has just led his people to the Red Sea. I won't spoil it for you by telling what happens.

I guess we won't be seeing the pharaoh around next season. You gotta wonder how they'll keep the plots fresh, though, with the whole "wandering the desert" thing. I guess each week they'll run across a different tribe of Canaanites each season and kill them or something. Sort of like a "Wagon Train to the Promised Land" deal, maybe?

But what the hell was that floating down out of the sky in that final shot? It looked like some little crumbs of bread or something--but of course that doesn't make any sense.

In Deutoronomy it says it was an 11-day trip across the desert. It took them 40 years.

Why did the angels (I think they were angels) pull out sword/machete/whatevers and go ninja on the sodomites?

Couldn't they just smite them?

It's a head scratcher.

I'm not sure what kind of action it would contain, but I bet it would be awesome.
