The teevee hammered us with dire warnings for days. Even this morning, the world was about to end. The snow has stopped and here in Mont. County we have maybe an inch of slush, which now seems to be melting.

(23,340 posts)they were off in the temperature prediction, and being off by a few degrees makes the difference between rain and snow.
It snowed hard for a time, but the streets were too warm for it to stick.

It's a producers dream; it makes their day that much easier when they can cover one story five different ways instead of the details required to cover five seperate stories.
In a nutshell: laziness.

Yep, but it seems like it is still snowing here. Not that it is sticking or anything.

Someone postulated that the reason for the change from snow to rain was all the hot air coming out of the house of representatives.

My blower is getting a workout this season.

I do have a vacation scheduled (elsewhere)
