Reminds me of my old pitty that tried to make friends with the skunk when he was a puppy. He thought it was a cat (he loved cats). That skunk was the most patient and tolerant animal I had ever seen. He gave my pitty every warning possible, but finally just wanted out. So...he sprayed the other direction away from my dog. He got the message and sulked the rest of the night. But, at least he didn't stink...much.
