This is about a woman with 3 kids..and husband..I was walking with my cart full of food.. In the middle of the isle stood the woman, 3 kids oh two girls.. 7.. 10 and a teenage boy..Mom is there with dad ..they are obviously in the way I very quietly said "excuse me. and mom turned to the 10 year old said .."You can run her down if you like...I veryl quietly said......," Sundays are the days I runn em down. not Saturdys."....(and quietly wated till an aile opened up.....What kind of mom says those thngs to her kids/..

(55,012 posts)hard to say without being there, but I know my jokes about eating my offspring never went over well with the humor-impaired. Nevermind how I have to really watch my personal interactions when I am in the big city. I forget that you aren't actually supposed to chat up the cashiers or other folks in line. Unlike in small towns where you are seen as some kind of snob if you don't do it.

One of the hardest things for me to get used to when moving from NJ to FL were the conversations at the checkout...Now I feel like the cashiers are old friends!

(7,515 posts)goes into a grocery store, 5 strong, and then saunters down the middle of an aisle? Answer that question and you know about the type of mom she is. (A very inconsiderate one)
