i talk my jewish family to have ham for christmas

When you think about this as the OP puts it ... eating ham is an insult.
I never thought about it that way.

as for everything else ... my views are often considered odd!

I just don't see it happening..........

of Easterly eating habits is gonna get somebunny mad!

.... there's got to be some kind of connection .... wierd.


This is gonna bug me until I figure it out now.

As I grew older I thought it was a particularly gruesome selection....the blood of the lamb and all that.

In the United States, ham is a traditional Easter food. In the early days, meat was slaughtered in the fall. There was no refrigeration, and the fresh pork that wasn't consumed during the winter months before Lent was cured for spring. The curing process took a long time, and the first hams were ready around the time Easter rolled around. Thus, ham was a natural choice for the celebratory Easter dinner.

So maybe its divine irony?
