I ate sea cucumber in China several years ago. My wife is Chinese and we were visiting her parents in China. We went to a really high end restaurant and I was served sea cucumber as I was the 'honored guest." It is a real delicacy... to the Chinese.. Actually, it wasn't bad once I got my head in order.. :> )
