Bring home the bacon?

Bacon brought home the puppy.

A recovering pit bull puppy who was abused in a dog-fighting ring ran away from her foster home here Friday, setting off a weekend-long search.

But Misty followed her nose back. She showed up around 2 p.m. Monday as volunteers cooked bacon in the backyard to lure her home.
