(4,465 posts)I'm about to go make a spinach salad with grilled chicken(last nights dinner), cherry tomatoes, feta, bacon bits with a little ranch dressing and a tart vinaigrette drizzled on top.
I'm going out for ice cream later.

(20,176 posts)My dinner isn't bad...it's homemade salsa and guac that I have not determined what to do with yet. Nachos? Burrito bowl? Tacos?
I just now really have a hankering for pierogies and it's one of those things I just can't make from scratch. (Fresh pasta eludes me too.)

(23,272 posts)My local grocery store has discount bins and I always browse those for anything interesting. Well they had canned oysters so I grabbed a few cans thinking I could make SOMETHING with these....
I've never made an oyster casserole.
I perused some of the recipes online and I think the one I chose came out pretty good. Everybody in the family liked it AND a surprise guest who showed up (and of course was invited!) LOVED it (or so he said - heh).
