The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsWell, my career in Nevada's legal brothel industry has ended.
Got an email from my client today telling me she's no longer going to be working at the brothel.
That means I won't either.
It was one hell of a ride.
I've been here 8 months and I've designed Websites, been a DJ, and worked for a bordello. As of right now I am back to my primary trade, Web Designer / Photographer, but who the hell knows what the next stop on the journey will be.

(4,833 posts)Is she going to marry the Governor (I know nothing of Nevada politics), moving to a bigger, richer market, what?
And what of you, you have have provided fantasy material for so many DUers out there . . . in the darkness . . . of wherever their humble abode may be . . . hoping for something more . . . fulfilling?

(30,885 posts)If someone alerted on this thread because of a link with a stern warning attached (they did, verdict was 5-1 in my favor), I imagine full-scale Armageddon if I tell any of the stories I have stockpiled. Looks like you'll just have to by my tell-all / insiders book.

(2,654 posts)I went to visit the Cherry Patch brothel with my husband - since we are fairly new NV residents and he'd never seen a legal brothel before. Everyone was great and very friendly. We didn't request any services, however

Don't know what the market is for boudoir photography, but damn, you've got talent.

(30,885 posts)...it's something I love, along with the food photography. There actually was a local photographer who promoted himself last year during the holidays for boudoir photos. His stuff really wasn't that inspiring, which means there's a market locally for photos that are.
Now that I've done it professionally I plan to market it along with everything else I do.
