Apparently it's a type of running club that runs while consuming alcohol at predetermined locations; usually (but not always) at a bar or pub...
They call themselves 'drinkers with a running problem'
Just had a group run by the house and I engaged a group of stragglers (one of which had a red solo cup) and they gave me a quick rundown on it along with a 'business card' to their club and an invitation to join them on their next 'hash'.
So. Has anyone else ever heard of this before?

(4,440 posts)makes no sense to me but he claims it's a good fun way to socialize, drink, and exercise. I like to do all 3, but not at the same time.

I don't drink, and I don't particularly like running, but I do it.
As for the first time I've heard of it, it was from the brother of my brother in law who is a drinker and a hard core runner. He told me about some races that does that.
