I remember the last one -- I was 13 and thought it was the coolest things EVER.

It made many FURIOUS -- because "it marred the purity of the Games", of course.

In my very white Iowa most people I knew were furious. But I just kept wondering what would make them do something that they knew had to be so in the face of most of America.

Kent State made quite an impression on me, think that was the last incident in the loss of innocence of our nation's youth.
