...if President Obama said his favorite food was bacon, The Right would invent the Sausage, Lettuce and Tomato sandwich.

If he said puppies were cute, The Right would switch to pet mice.

If his favorite colors were red, white and blue, The Right would dye all its flags purple.

If he said he didn't like Jane Fonda movies, The Right would immediately begin buying Jane Fonda movies at a rate that would boggle the mind. "Yeah, I know Hanoi Jane is a traitorous beeyotch, but Barry Soetoro said her movies sucked so they must really be great!"

Our city council passed an ordinance barring discrimination based on sexual orientation. It was like pulling the drain plug out of a submarine - within days we were awash in letters, and some of them were pretty bad. This one is one of the worse ones. (If you don't want to click on it, the thesis of this one is it's okay to discriminate against gay people because the anus is not designed to have sex in. I am not kidding.)

After we printed that, I sent a note to our managing editor suggesting that maybe we shouldn't run any more of this crap because we were getting dangerously close to pissing off the readership. Little kids don't need to read right-winger porn like these letters.
