July 14th... are you ready?

?6

The Newsroom is coming back for Season 2 on HBO, here is some scoop from Huffington Post... and some great teaser images, follow the link to see the rest of the images.

"The Newsroom" Season 2 is fast approaching (premieres Sun., July 14 at 10 p.m. ET on HBO) and we know a few of the recent news stories they'll be covering on "News Night," the show-within-the-show on the Aaron Sorkin drama.

Now, The Huffington Post has an exclusive first look at eight new character posters of the "News Night" crew, including Will (Jeff Daniels), MacKenzie (Emily Mortimer), Don (Thomas Sadoski), Jim (John Gallagher, Jr.), Maggie (Alison Pill) and the ever-quotable Charlie (Sam Waterston), as well as the new key art for Season 2 with the ominous tagline: "Together they stand alone."

Every black and white poster features a very telling quote from each character. And while there aren't posters for Jane Fonda's Leona Lansing and her onscreen son, played by "The Mindy Project" star Chris Messina, we're pretty sure their characters will be spewing just as much quick wisdom on Season 2 of "The Newsroom."

I'll be drinking Blue Kachinas.

Champers and Blue Curacao. Cheap champers. But good - Gruet from Albuquerque, NM. Visited their tasting room once on the wa to Santa Fe, very nice folks. A French family that brought their expertise to the New World.

Including television, kittens and my slightly-disturbed fascination with Olivia Munn. (Nah, she's just really hot and smart and funny.)

I love the actress Olivia Munn as well, but the way Sloan Sabbith is written, she is smart, beautiful, funny, aloof and essentially perfect in my mind. She reminds me of CJ and Donna from the west wing mashed into one amazing character. Sorkin really can create and write great female characters. He seems to just get what makes intelligent and beautiful women seem both goddesslike and down to earth at the same time. I am pulling for Sloan to get some satisfaction this year in her personal life. She obviously has it at work, but she seems to want more from her personal life.

Sherman A1 informed us that July 11 was Blueberry Muffin day.

I felt a deep obligation to over-indulge.

But, yes, I will watch the show.
