Some jazz is too far out for my ears, but this has a tune that I remember with pleasure...

I'm glad you enjoyed it. "Sugar" is probably Turrentine's best known tune. There are many versions of it on YouTube. I like this version for several reasons. It shows a video of the band, not just a still picture. The band plays well together. The piece lasts long enough for some of the other musicians to take solos of reasonable length. And there is no damned commercial before the music starts.
