My kids have grown and gone and we're now in the stage of decluttering. I saved so many things in their early school years that I easily have WAY too much, and there's no where to store it. Some things make me laugh. This one in particular, which was about one of our favorite family trips. It involved an Amtrak ride up to Washington D.C. when the kids were small:
I have been on a train before. They are very fun. We went on the train when we traveled to DC. It is by New York. Here are some things I did on the train.
The first thing we did was get our own rooms. They were small but comfortable. Right next to us was a dining car. It was a nice place to eat. My Dad had four glasses of red wine. One other thing that we did on the train was see a movie every other hour. Some of my favorite movies came on.
Also, we got to sleep on the train. The top bunk smelled as if someone passed gas. It was a very bad smell. After a while you got used to it.
Well that is about it for my trip on the train. It was very fun and exciting trip. No one got hurt!!!!

Anyway, I have some tough choices ahead. Too bad you can't shrink wrap this stuff the way you can blankets and pillows.
