Goldbaum's All Natural Brown Rice Pasta (no GMO, gluten free, cholesterol free ...

low fat, sodium free, egg free, wheat free).

May I say, this was *really good pasta*. Our local grocery doesn't carry this product but we have a few overstock groceries in the area we check out regularly for deals; got 16oz for $1.99, which compared with your average gluten free product is a good deal.

My husband and I have avoided pasta for a while because of gluten issues but we both agreed that the texture and taste of this pasta was excellent. All I added to it was a sauce of some chopped tomatoes from the garden, a little garlic, salt and olive oil. Would have been better if I'd had fresh basil

So, anyway. If you love pasta but have gluten issues and don't like the taste and texture of some of the easier-to-find alternatives, check out this brand. We're heading back to the store tomorrow to see if they have any left!

pasta in that after the pasta boils for a few minutes, you turn the heat off, cover the pot and let the pasta stand in the water for about 10-15 minutes. I've never cooked it before, so I can't say what would happen if you didn't do this, but ... it was a pleasant surprise.
