I was kinda scrawny as a little kid and was a bad eater, with dinner time being quite the unpleasant battleground. They used, and even I used to think I was just being a pain in the ass. Turns out, my mother was just a lousy cook. Her mother made her her like Julia Child. Veggies were cooked until they were grey...so help me...grey. Macaroni was boiled till you could hang wallpaper with it. Don't even get me started on meat or fish.

Curt and I flew together for several years.
He's about 5th generation backwoods Floridian.
We were in some city and saw a restaurant that advertised 'Mom's Cooking'.

"Wanna try that?"
Oh HELL no! My mom was the worst cook EVER.
She kept a can of bacon grease on the back of the stove. Never changed it, just kept using it and adding to it.
She;s fry fish, potatoes, tomatoes, meat (beef, deer, squirrel, bacon, sausage) chicken, eggs, whatever in that grease.
Can you imagine having breakfast eggs fried in something that fries fish the night before?
Yuck.
I'd rather go to McDonald's."

She wanted to braid it and slip a bead onto it. Anyway, my husband is 6'4" and I had to wax his nose hair, poor guy. But series, you could see right up his nose. The good part is that after a few times, it really hasn't grown back.

You have to stick a stick into the lump of melted wax, so you have something to hold on to when you pull it off. Seriously, waxing is far superior to trimming. It lasts, it looks better and no dirty tools to wash. Staph can live in human noses, I want to toss anything that goes up there. I gather boogers won't get a thread locked?
