It smells like Daddy's money and FAIL in the lobby.
Thank god we're leaving tomorrow, they're going to be here for 3 freakin days/shows. Are they playing 3 nights because Jerry and the boys did it first?
On Edit: Am I being too harsh?

(39,343 posts)There are a few here tonight in the lobby, but the hotel is booked solid for the next two nights.
I remember when a bunch of deadheads over ran a Days Inn when they came thru Atlanta. A handful of people got rooms and everyone let about 20 people shower and clean up between shows.
Ahh, the good old crazy days. I don't see the phish heads being like that. They look well dressed and drive cars that we never had on the road back then.

(68,644 posts)Is this a convention, are these fans of a musical group?
I'm confused.
And curious!
TIA

(39,343 posts)And Phish are big fans of The Grateful Dead. I was a Dead fan and felt like Phish was trying to be The Dead.

(68,644 posts)From experience at dead concerts, and related events, I can only imagine.
Enjoy, it won't last forever, quite, maybe...

(5,675 posts)hotel. I looked down from my corner room high in the hotel, and noticed several carloads of kids in tie dyed clothing and some others walking on the sidewalks. "I think the Gratefull Dead are nearby, I said." It was true. Soldier Field, Jerry's last show. The morning after the show, we found little tie dyed Deadheads had infiltrated the hotel like mice! The could be found curled up sleeping on ever floor wherever there were sofas, in hallways and by elevators. Most were barefooted.
I loved it.
